   As educators, we can no longer ignore the diversity that exists and the needs that must be addressed in the classroom. As an art teacher, I can open many doors for learning about diversity for my students. With the ever increasing recognition of diversity, all educators need to promote the understanding of diversity in themselves and their students. This diversity includes different ways of learning, cultural diversity, and even the diversity in educational backgrounds. This page shows some of the efforts I have made to furthering an understanding of diversity that can be translated back to interacting and educating students.

• No two students are exactly alike so therefore it is irrational to not address the different needs of all students. This project explores the diversity of students.
