bullet

The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci.

bullet

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

bullet

Danse Macrabe by Stephen King

bullet

The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe

bullet

The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe

bullet

The Masque of the Red Death by Edgar Allan Poe

bullet

This unit is also designed to allow students to investigate the various subjects that the stories describe (as each are different) and to research the possibilities of what the semantics are of each. The unit is planned for a 2 week period but can be easily adapted to meet a longer or shorter period of time, depending on how many reading selections are being utilized.
