As Aristotle said, "Well begun is half done." It is my belief that a thorough, well organized lesson plan is in any educator's  best interest! Beyond the lesson plan instead of expecting students to adapt to instruction I find it most beneficial to develop a multi-faceted instructional approach as deemed critical by the Differentiated Instruction philosophy. This will enable me to address more learning styles and developmental levels. More specifically in my Educational Technology classes I like to provide a visual representation to support my lecture. In addition to lecture it is important to provide students with demonstrations of technology, hands on experience, collaborative learning opportunities, and practical exercises for retention/transfer of knowledge. Having an eclectic approach to education, I believe that noteworthy contributions have been made to the field of education by many researchers and practicing educators.
