Subject:            Developing Learning Communities:  Language and Learning Style

Objectives:       We will show how language creates a barrier to the learning process.  We will use three case laws to explain the difficulties students who speak different languages face, and what regulations have now been put in place. We will achieve this with a PowerPoint presentation.

We will demonstrate how different learning styles are unique with an activity in class.  This activity will break our classmates into four different groups of learners.  After the activity, our classmates will understand how the different learning styles prevalent in our class will be similar in their future classes.
