Analyzing the Pre-Test
Questions 1 through 8 and 14 ask for teachers to self report on their entry level skills. An answer of "No" for any of these will mean the lesson will have to be adjusted to make sure all of the learners have the prerequisite skills.
If the learners answer "Yes" to numbers 9, 10, 11, or 12 then the lesson will need to be adjusted to avoid redundancy. For learners, with experience, steps in the lesson could be skilled and the process could more at a faster pace.
Questions 15 through 20, give the instructor an indication of the level of patience that the learner has. These answers also help to show the learner's attitudes towards computer learning. Answers of "Yes" for 18, 19, or 20 may indicate that the learner will need more time for the instruction. Answers of "Yes" for 18, 19, or 20 could also indicate that the learner may need direct instruction from another learner or instructor.
