For World Affairs or any other course, study skills are important.  Having good study habits will lead students to be more successful.  The links below were chosen to help you improve key learning and organizational skills to help you to achieve.

Muskingum College offers a page for high school students to assist in their transition to college.  The links are helpful to any student, college-bound or not.  Muskinghum offers help with:

Remembering

How-To-Study.com is another site that gives free advice and study tips.  It offers help, just like Muskinghum, with preparation for studying, note taking, listening strategies for class, and strategies for taking tests.  But this site also offers different strategies for reading textbooks than for reading novels and also explains how to best use reference sources.

Study Guides and Strategies is another site that has lots of resources similar to the previous two.  But it also has multiple strategies for each skill; for example, there are seven linked strategies just for reading.

Don't forget two of your best resources . . .

Know It Now links you to online chat with a reference librarian who can help you find needed book and computer resources.

Homework Now will link you to online chat with a teacher who can tutor you in specific subject matter or can answer content questions for you.  It's available 7 days a week, from 2 pm to 10 pm.
