Global conflicts are having an ever-growing effect on the US.

As more Americans die in Iraq and the conflict continues, US citizens grow ever more concerned and hungry for news and information about the war's progress.

Not only is the US military involved in the Iraq war, there are still unresolved issues in Afghanistan.

Many Americans are also debating whether the US should serve as a global police force.  Should America be more involved in preventing genocide in Sudan?

Finally, Americans still serve as a mediators in the ongoing conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians over the West Bank and other disputed land claims.

Given the importance of these world events, newspapers, magazines, network news shows, and cable news stations all send reporters to these hot spots.

You are a magazine journalist, who's worked for a number of years  Most reporters are assigned to live and work in conflict areas.  Since you're a senior reporter, you're given the choice of locations to work in: Iraq, Afghanistan, the West Bank region of Israel, or Sudan.  Which would you pick?
