Science Collection Weeding Project

Books were selected for weeding based on criteria adapted from the Arizona State Library Weeding Policy from the Archives and Public Records.  Other sources consulted included the Maryland State Department of Education's essay Weeding: Reassessment of Library Media Collections, the State of Iowa's Weeding the Library Media Center Collections, and the Guidelines for Weeding Library Materials from the Alachua County Public Schools of Gainesville, Florida.  Other sources were consulted like handouts from graduate classes and the Sunlink Florida Weed of the Month Club.

Books that met two or more of the following criteria were removed from the collection:
