Visual Design Projects & Examples

In Designing Visuals for Instruction, the task was to apply design principles to various assignments, using Adobe Photoshop.  We practiced with small assignments using squares to learn about positive and negative space, value, texture, color, and fonts.  In the final assignments, I demonstrated my understanding of those concepts.

For the Critique Assignment, I needed to choose an advertisement that demonstrated flaws of design.  After commenting on the errors, I redesigned the ad. 

The later assignments were based on designing materials for a fictional business.  For my business, Fairy Finery, I needed to create a business card, a letterhead, a persuasive flier, and a mock-up of a web page for the business.
